CBRE House Inauguration Event
CBRE Luxembourg moves to new state-of-the-art offices in Cloche d’Or
The real estate consultant now occupies 4,000 m² in the Cloche d’Or district.
Luxembourg, December 4, 2024 – CBRE Luxembourg has very recently moved its Luxembourg headquarters to brand new offices located at route d’Esch 404, L-1471 Luxembourg. CBRE House is an iconic building with a unique triangular design located in the vibrant heart of the Cloche d’Or district, nearby the Luxembourg A6 ringroad, the Stade du Luxembourg and the adjacent P+R public parking.
The new offices have been designed around the concept of “activity-based working.” In addition to flexible, department-oriented workspaces and various types of meeting rooms, CBRE employees enjoy access to a diverse array of formal and informal work environments. These spaces are tailored to facilitate optimal work conditions, whether working collaboratively with colleagues or concentrating on individual tasks.
CBRE Luxembourg’s Advisory Project Management department was responsible for designing the new offices and overseeing the construction process. As office design is one of CBRE’s core activities, no effort was spared in creating an innovative workspace that also serves as a demonstration area.
Thierry Bauwens, Director of the Advisory Project Management department at CBRE Luxembourg, explains: “The strategic approach behind the design of these new offices is rooted in the principles of clean and flexible desk usage. The result is an agile, adaptable, and well-organised workplace where employees can quickly feel at home. For those needing privacy for phone calls, dedicated phone booths and bubbles are available, while teams seeking a creative environment for brainstorming can reserve more “out-of-the-box” spaces. We have focused our work on adapting the workspace to the needs of our users, rather than the other way around. As a result, our new offices have transformed into a productive hub for meetings, knowledge sharing, interaction, collaboration, and co-creation.”
Michael Taelman, Country Leader of CBRE Luxembourg, states: “Our Advisory Project Management team has dedicated countless hours over the past few months to create one of the most beautiful office spaces in Luxembourg, setting a benchmark for companies looking to undertake similar initiatives. We aimed to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment for our employees, featuring state-of-the-art, highly efficient offices that promote well-being. Our team conceived a cosy space for meeting, exchanging ideas, and developing skills. Our offices now serve as a welcoming hub for collaboration and creativity.”
The new workspace leverages technology to enhance user experience. Flexible working arrangements are available throughout the office, ensuring comfort and safety. CBRE’s new workplace has a modern air-conditioning system, easy communication and network access, and smart, energy-saving lighting.
Michael Taelman further explains: “The new offices have been thoughtfully designed to prioritise collaboration, productivity, and hospitality, featuring a dedicated client area on the third and fourth (top) floors. While we always kept our employees’ expectations in mind, we also aimed to provide an exceptional welcoming experience for our clients, with a large surface dedicated to professional meetings. In addition to offering breathtaking views of the Luxembourg skyline and enjoying the use of a large terrace, the upper floor features a coffee bar amongst other amenities. This is a powerful tool to enhance in person contacts and, therefore, company culture. At CBRE, hospitality has become an integral part of our company vision.”
