Klima-Agence Klimapakt-Dag

The Climate Pact is a program established by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate, and Biodiversity to support Luxembourgish municipalities in their commitment to the energy transition and climate protection. It serves as a key tool for guiding municipal policy and is partly based on the “European Energy Award,” a European quality management system for municipalities focused on energy policy and climate action. The program is managed by Klima-Agence.

On June 7, 2024, the 12th edition of the Climate Pact Day took place, organized by Klima-Agence in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, Climate, and Biodiversity. This year’s event highlighted key topics such as promoting photovoltaics, decarbonizing heating systems, adapting to climate change, and the circular economy. The event followed the ecological and sustainable guidelines of the “GreenBusinessEvent” project. Throughout the day, we served local, organic, and vegetarian products, with vegan options available. In line with our commitment to sustainability, the trophies presented were made from recycled pallets in collaboration with CIGL Walferdange.

Communication materials were designed for reuse on various occasions, and all communication was done via email. With the support of Oekozenter Pafendall, we were able to host an event that respects the environment and protects our resources.
