The Green Business Events project, launched by the Ministry of the Economy in collaboration with Oekozenter Pafendall, the Luxembourg Convention Bureau and its industry partners, has reached a significant milestone by being chosen by BEFuture as one of the top 10 Sustainable Best Practices within the thriving landscape of the Business Events Industry in Europe.
Isabelle Schummers from Oekozenter Pafendall had the honour of presenting the Green Business Events project at IMEX Frankfurt 2024. She highlighted what makes it stand out: namely the combination of government-backed standards for events developed in close cooperation with players from the sector and tailor-made free support for organisers.
The selection of Green Business Events among the top sustainable practices in its field serves as a testament to its exemplary efforts in driving positive change and setting new industry standards.
